Hello everyone and welcome to my new website! I’ve been considering doing this for a long time now but its finally live and I will be adding as much content to it as I can over the coming months.

My intention is to make this mostly about travelling in China. Having spent so long there without ever truly learning Mandarin, I have developed a whole set of tips and tricks for travelling in the areas where English is extremely rare. I have also been to a huge number of places now and have a lot of information about how best to visit. Information fades over time and with so little information online aimed at backpacking in China I decided it would be a huge waste to just move on and forget everything that I have learned while I’ve been here.

There will be travel tips, many stories, lots of maps and pictures and hopefully you will find it interesting. I will be expanding and including stories and tips from other countries as well, based on what I want to write about. Please let me know what you think!
